Stars Hair and Beauty, as it’s known today, was started by Zane Oliver in 2007.
Zane was passionate about hairdressing and wanted to give clients the very best in customer care, attention to detail, and affordable prices. These values are at the heart of our business today and we strive to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
Meet the team
Zane
I’ve been in the Hairdressing industry for 33 years. I started my career in London and then worked in various salons throughout East Sussex, before owning my own business for 21 years.
I have built a strong team who deliver a great hairdressing experience for all our clients, something I am very proud of.
The salon reflects our personalities, and it is a fun place to work. My priority is to give our clients a professional experience throughout their visit and achieve client satisfaction.
Paul
I have been a stylist for 17 years, where I have progressed from junior stylist to now being co-owner of Stars Hair and Beauty - I couldn’t be more proud.
I am passionate about everything to do with hair, from the creative side to the compassion I have for all of our clients.
I love to put a smile on my clients’ face every day. No job is too small or too big, whether it is cutting, restyling, extensions or blowdrying - I’m your man!
Bridal hair and weddings are my speciality. Being able to make your special day the absolute best is when I am at my happiest.
Becky
I’ve been a stylist for over 16 years and have worked with Zane and Paul since I qualified. I honestly feel like stars is my family.
I love having a giggle and building relationships with my clients.
My true passion is colouring and cutting and I love a good re-style.
I love my job and find it thoroughly rewarding especially when I make my clients look and feel their absolute best.
